Archery Training

Archery has been called "The art of repetition" and that is what it's all about. Anyone can take a bow, draw the string and release an arrow, but to do it with high accuracy takes some practice to achieve. Archery is not difficult and anyone can learn to shoot quite accurate and become a good archer. Proper guidance is vital though, and I strongly suggest that you shoot your first arrows at an archery club; they will certainly be able to help you to get started. With proper guidance and practice there is no limit for how good you can turn out to be, it's entirely up to you if you want to have archery as a fun recreational pursuit or sees it as a competitive sport and want to take the challenge to participate in competitions. If your main interest is hunting then it's absolutely necessary to get enough skill to be able to perform an ethical hunt, and the best way to get that skill is always through an archery club. Most archery clubs will also have training bows to borrow, so you can wait with your first buy of a bow until you know what type of bow you should go after.
